can PrologicII be detected?

I was wondering if it is possible that PLII can be detected as an audio signal.

Prologic II works with a carrier signal, I believe, and I'm guessing it's way up and out of the range of human hearing.

I'm told that Prologic II is a much better method of encoding material so that it's stereo compatible. They (Dobly) say it's completely compatible with normal, stereo WAV files and is not undetectable when not needed. (Thats' what they SAY anyway...)
