Hi!
I'm using a Delta 10/10 soundcard and I've got a problem.

The sound from my guitar and into the POD to the soundcard and out of my monitors is very good, but when I listen to a track recorded it sounds like the quality is poorer. Kind of like a tremble button has been turned back.

I just can't understand why. I'm recording with a standard 44khz 16bits setup. And the card is setup for this so is the Cubase 5.1.

I've read through the troubleshooting in the manual, tried the newest drivers for the soundcard, but the problem is the same...

Do some of you experienced the same problems, or maybe know what could possible be wrong??

Btw, I've got a 1ghz processor and 512 MB ram, so that should not be the problem. The OS I'm using is WinME. I've tried WinXP to solve the problem but it didn't work out any better.

Please help me out if you know something about what could be wrong!!!

16bit 44.1 not 44Khz...

Try recording at 24/48Khz...

Be sure to have your levels all the way up in the Delta Control Panel...Also how you have Cubase setup as far as asio and your levels in that are important too.. Your problem is most likely due to gain staging..

Also when recording with the pod after listening back pan your tracks hard left and hard right if doing two separate tracks to record stereo guitar and be sure to have the AMP AIR setting correct as well..

Good Luck...Hope this helps you..

Are you going analog or spdif from the POD to the Delta?

What do you have the Delta's clock set to?

If you are going into the Delta thru the spdif jacks you should have the Delta's clock set to "spdif in"
