small vacuum for a pc?

is there a good little vacuum to get the dust out of a pc. i like the idea of a vacuum rather than just blowing the stuff around with endust.

These might work. Don't have any first hand experience with any of em, though.

The dust that settles in my case is quite annoying. Canned air at close range does nothing. I wish I could dump the lot in the dishwasher, but something tells me thats not such a good idea.

you should be able to get attachments for any standard vaccum

thanks for the link. it says the have it at staples. i remember seeing something like this somewhere, that must have been it.

i have a regular vac with a hose, and a smaller "shark" vacuum (which impresses me less with each use). i'm thinking a dedicated little vacuum that is task-specific is a good idea. our studios' heart is the computer, so it doesn't seem extravagent to me to have something like this if it produces a quality result.

I have heard of someone that zappped their computer using a vac. static electricity is involved Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!! the compressed air is sort of fun, just bring your pc outside to do it. good luck,

good point!

i feel kind of lame actually. because my computer setup was the model of hospital-quality cleanliness. but then i was doing some sanding and sawing projects around the house and some dust found it's way over to the electronics lair. it's not a tragedy, but it's killing me that there's some light dust in the computer area and that i wasn't thinking as proactively as i should have about that.
