I have four NTFS partitions....two of those have complete OS's on them. At boot, I can choose to go to a DAW-only OS or a Everyday OS.

I intend to separately format the bootable partitions (the ones that contain the OS's) and load up XP on them.

Two questions: Will I be able to see the other partitions that I created with Win2K once I have upgraded to XP? And also, should I format & relaod them in any particular order?

Also.....if I choose to merge some partitions with Partition Magic, how large will I be able to make each bootable partition? Is there a 3G limit? 5G? More?

Thanks in advance.

Windows 2K and XP use the same system to format NTFS paritions.

Simply se the boot to CD-Rom and put in your windows 2k disk. When you get to the parition screen choose the drive you wan to load the os on and parition 2 section 10g each for your Os or whatever size you want to be safe.

Load up win 2K

when your done pop in the XP disc in your CD-rom and go into the same blue setup screen and choose the other 10G partition to put XP on.

When XP gets done you get dual options...

This is the short version hope it helps.
