Hi, I'm currently using FL v. 3.4. I know, I'm way behind. Anyhow, when I upgraded last time from 3.0 to 3.4 I lost some of the plugins like Simsynth and could no longer work on some of my earlier flp files.

Does anyone know if I upgrade from 3.4 to 4.5+ will I have any conflicts with the flp files or samples that I've worked long and hard on over the last year or so?

I really don't want to lose anything, but do want to join the modern world.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I actually did try and upgrade my 3.45 to 4.5 and I didnt have problems moving anything, however I wasnt too happy with the program itself...maybe it was a beta version, so I just switched back to 3.45....its old but I honestly don't see a great amount of improvements between the newer and the older.

It's all in the mixer. Though there are a lot of other improvements, the mixer is one of the best new features in FL Studio. I had in mind switching programs after 3.xx but when FL Studio was released I decided to stay with Image Line folks. The same ease of use but with a lot more power features. It is worth the upgrade and at least for me, I didn't have any problems. All the contrary, the mixer made me rework old projects and improve them.
