Hello anybody Mpc2000 is a drum machine seq that have 99 midi tracks which is very straight forward and easy to use. And the reason i use it for the master to drive cubase its midi clock seem to keep cubase in sync much better then when i use cubase as the master. you see i record all my midi track on the Mpc2000 drum machine Seq. and let it place all my keyboard modules, sound while i have the MPC. as master sync to run cubase to record my keyboard sound, that way i can record 8 track of audio track to cubase at the same time. I have done it a lot in the past I just turn on my MPC midi tracks from midi ch:1 to midi ch:8 to play my keyboard modular sound and all my audio would be sync tight when record to cubase. But now for some reason cubase want stay sync to my MPC unless i have all the midi track off on the MPC if i just turn on one midi track it will stared and stop But if i turn off all of MPC seq midi track it will stay sync and run perfectly. what could it be: i heard for some where that it could be the Direct X drive that win98 use that will effect your midi setup is there any truth to that
My setup is Win98 { P3/ 1.2 MHz } 512 RAM
Lexicon core32 sound card *8 I/O
