my computer went batty yesterday so i had to reformat my hard drive. now i can't get my delta44 installed properly. i can't install the drivers for some reason. and i can't remember how i got it to work last time... i downloaded the latest driver from m-audio, but that doesn't seem to help either. i open delttray, and i see the little icon in the lower right corner. then i try to double click that little icon to open up the monitor mixer, and i get an error message reading something like "cannot find deltapnl.exe". i found this file on the m-audio drivers CD which came with the card, and i copied it over to my c:\ drive but that doesn't seem to help. and then i try doubleclicking deltapnl.exe itself, and it says something like "cannot find hardware". i also tried installing the drivers through device manager, but that doesn't work either.

i moved the card from pci slot 5 to pci slot 4 and that didn't help either. should i try yet another slot?

dont bother with changing slots, you just have to go to device manager and find the audio tab with the little yellow icon.. open it and click update drivers.. you should be set..

Just a little tip: when you double-click the device in Device manager, click the driver tab and use the Browse button the find the Delta_ver_36_final folder that you have extracted from the downloaded zip file. Once you point the computer to this folder, you will be able to install the update.
