Terratec Phase 22 Soundcard

Has anyone used the Terratec Phase 22 sound card for multitrack recording. The Terratec Phase 22 and the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 seem to have about the same specs, but I see a lot of negative feedback for M-Audio's technical support and popping and clicking if you playback more than two tracks.
