Cubase SX/Hammerfall Routing Question

I've got the following:

Cubase SX>Hammerfall 96/52>ADAT1 Out>Channel 1
>Optipatch optical sources 2>Optipatch optical destinations 6
>DM-24 SLOT 2 ADAT IN SLOT2-9>DM-24 CH 17

and

Cubase SX>Hammerfall 96/52>ADAT1 Out>Channel 2
>Optipatch optical sources 2>Optipatch optical destinations 6
>DM-24 SLOT 2 ADAT IN SLOT2-10>DM-24 CH 18

I'm getting no sound. I've had this working before and all the other channels on the Hammerfall work. Ironically the two channels that don't work are the default "Always On" channels in Cubase.
