o.s. for cubase vst/32 5.0

hello,
can anyone advise me on which windows o.s. would be most stable to run cubase vst/32 5.0 software? i also have cubase plex software that needs a minimum requirement of windows 2000.

Windows XP Home , or Pro if you are networking at all. Visit this site for XP tuning and Tweaking for Audio.

If it is the old Plex software it will not work with XP you will need an upgrade. It should tell you on the CD or the box. "Do not use with XP"

It depends on the date of the burner and the Plextor Software release.

Here is a Free 5.0 Update to run VST/32 in the latest version.

You should be able to run this under XP, but call Steinberg to be sure before you drop money on a new OS.

AFAIK, or can remember, if you install VST32 and then, before trying to run it, update the installation to the latest Public Beta - 5.2 PB1 i think, and all will be fine.
